Oren Elbaz

Hello and welcome. I am an artist, graphic designer & illustrator from Israel. I am a self-taught painter, who has been creating since early childhood. After a long and prolific career as a graphic designer, in the service of various international clients, I have returned to my old love, which is fine art. Inspired by the impressionist masters, I create traditional landscape and still-life paintings. In my work I seek to explore the beauty of nature, and capture it in the most simple and authentic way. I use rapid and spontaneous brushstrokes in order to reflect the original textures of the subject. I mix my colors thoroughly, to control their saturation and achieve subtle and realistic hues. I find that this combination produces a vivid and elegant result. I hope you will enjoy this website, and my ever-growing collection of artwork.
